Distinguish between the two types of mindsets as described by Carol Dweck.

What will be an ideal response?

Carol Dweck defines mindset as the cognitive view individuals develop for themselves.

According to Carol Dweck, every individual has one of two mindsets: a fixed mindset and a growth mindset. A fixed mindset is one in which individuals believe that their qualities are carved in stone and cannot change. A growth mindset is one in which individuals believe their qualities can change and improve through their own effort. Dweck argues that individuals' mindsets influence whether they will be optimistic or pessimistic, what their goals will be and how hard they will strive to reach those goals, and what they will achieve.
