Are there ethical implications of change management? If so explain.

What will be an ideal response?

Student answers will vary. Students may focus on implementation methods which may be considered unethical, i.e. coercion, threats, and manipulation to implement changes. These methods may result in unethical behavior in employees, i.e. hands-on; top-down approaches include resentment, withdrawal, slowing down, anger, covert sabotage, and unethical behaviors. Students may also focus on the ethics surrounding reengineering (downsizing), cultural interventions and ethics training.
