What are paralinguistics? Provide an example of a paralinguistic behavior

What will be an ideal response?

Paralinguistics are all aspects of spoken language except the words themselves, including rate of speech, volume (how loud or soft someone's voice is), pitch (how high or low someone's voice is), and vocal stress (how tight their vocal cords are). When people are nervous, they tend to speak more quickly (rate), slightly more loudly (volume), in a higher pitch with more vocal stress. Another example is someone who is angry might use a slower pace (drawing out words) very loudly, in a lower pitch with vocal stress.
