For very thin traces that have to be repaired and are not completely severed, what method is used?
What will be an ideal response?
Small wires can be used to make these repairs. The old trace is tinned, and the used flux is removed. New flux is added, and the repair wire is put into place with a pair of tweezers. The clean soldering iron tip is applied at one end of the wire. The solder melts, and the solder tension will align the wire straight down the trace.
