Describe the characteristics of effective leaders in the workplace.?

What will be an ideal response?

ANSWER:
Intelligence and trustworthiness are universally rated as important traits of effective leaders. Other traits, such as a willingness to take risks, are seen as positive traits in some countries, and negative traits in other countries. Effective leaders tend to be high in consideration, which is the degree to which a leader displays friendly and supportive behavior and shows concern for the welfare of employees. Leaders who are high in initiating structure, which is the degree to which a leader assigns tasks and clarifies expectations, tend to be ineffective leaders if they also lack consideration.
