Describe the general distribution of climate types of Sub-Saharan Africa.

What will be an ideal response?

The Sahara desert dominates the northern part of Sub-Saharan Africa. At the equatorial region lies a rainforest.
Between these two climate types lie semi-arid regions. Tropical savannas are found extensively between 10° and 20° north and south of the Equator. These regions are dominated by a wet-summer and dry-winter climate pattern resulting in abundant tropical grasslands.
