How is carburetor synchronization done and what kind of tool is used?
What will be an ideal response?
To synchronize a bank of carburetors the engine should be warmed up and the idle speed set to specification. You use a set of vacuum gauges and they are hooked to vacuum ports for each cylinder provided by the manufacturer. Turn the synch screw on each carburetor so that the vacuum between the base carb and the remaining carburetors is the same. Snap the throttle a few times to see if the synchronization is stable. Recheck the idle speed after the carbs are synched.
