What does it mean to be rhetorically sensitive? What behaviors would you do in order to increase your

rhetorical sensitivity?

What will be an ideal response?

To be rhetorically sensitive means that you examine the situation and factors about the other person before you engage in self-disclosure so that both parties' interests are met and upheld. In order to
increase your rhetorical sensitivity, you should understand that people have multiple aspects to their
identity, be flexible when communicating with others, and maintain your own values. At the same time,
avoid offending others, use adaptive communication, and remain mindful of your language to ensure it
is more inclusive rather than exclusive.
