Define spontaneous recovery and explain why teachers need to be aware of this process

What will be an ideal response?

Spontaneous recovery can occur only after extinction occurs. Spontaneous recovery involves the recurring of a previously extinguished response. Teachers need to recognize that extinguished behavior will often make a return appearance and that great care must be taken to not reinforce this undesired behavior.
