You can quickly change the appearance of a table by using the Table AutoFormat feature in Expression Web. Table AutoFormat instantly creates borders, font formatting, background colors, and other effects for your table.Explain the following sections of the Table AutoFormat dialog box:1. Format to apply2. Apply special formatsExplain how Expression Web implements the chosen format settings and what you can do if you want to remove the design.
What will be an ideal response?
1. The check boxes in the Formats to apply section allow you to apply or remove individual elements of the selected Format, such as borders or shading.
2. The Apply special formats section allows you to designate certain rows and columns to receive special formatting.
Expression Web adds class-based styles to the table to implement the formatting. These new styles are now listed in the quick tag selector and in the Manage Styles and Apply Styles task panes. If you decide that the design doesn't quite work on the page, you can remove it by right-clicking anywhere in the table, pointing to Modify, clicking Table AutoFormat, then choosing None. The formatting is removed, and the styles associated with the AutoFormat are deleted from the page.
