How are insecticides applied to control root-feeding insects?
What will be an ideal response?
After application, water in with at least one-half inch of water to flush the insecticide down into the root zone where the white grub larvae are located. If a liquid spray is used, flush it off of the grass blades within 30 minutes so that the spray does not dry and stick to them. Granular applications need to be watered in before they are rained on.
