If a child swallows a small marble, and it lodges in the respiratory tract, where is it most likely to be found, and what symptoms are most likely to occur?

What will be an ideal response?

A child who has ingested a foreign object into the respiratory tract will show symptoms of coughing and irritation of the bronchial tree, including production of larger than normal amounts of mucus. The foreign object is more likely to have entered the right primary bronchus, as it is of greater diameter than the left, and enters the lungs at a steeper angle.
