When mapping arguments or decisions, what is the evaluative role that the analysis should play?
What will be an ideal response
None. The analyst's job is to represent the arguments being made as accurately, completely, and objectively as possible. There is no evaluative role for the analyst. And, apart from clarifying the speaker's intent, the analyst is expected not to be making any improvements on the speaker's arguments either.
