Explain why you should not make hardware configuration changes directly from the registry, and identify alternative options for making these changes.
What will be an ideal response?
Although it is possible to make hardware configuration changes directly from the Registry, this is a dangerous undertaking because a wrong deletion might mean you cannot reboot your server into Windows Server 2008. It is better to use other options first, such as Control Panel. Make changes in the Registry only under the guidance of a Microsoft technical note or a Microsoft support person.
