Explain how a bitmap image is different from a vector graphic.
What will be an ideal response?
Unlike vector graphics which are created by mathematical statements, bitmap images are created by bits or pixels placed on a grid or map. Vector graphics can easily be sized and still retain their clarity but are not photorealistic. In a bitmap image, each pixel contains information about the colors to be displayed and has the realism required for a photograph.
