Describe the three perceptual constancies. Provide a good example of each constancy in your explanation

Please provide the best answer for the statement.

A perceptual constancy is when the perception of a stimulus remains the same even though some of its characteristics may have changed. There are three types of constancy: size, shape, and color. Size constancy is when the perception of an object’s size doesn’t change, regardless of changes in distance. Shape constancy is when objects are perceived as the same shape even though the retinal image may change as a result of different viewpoints. Finally, the color constancy is recognizing that the color of an object doesn’t change even though the reflected wavelength of light changes in different environments.
