Bone is a subtype of connective tissue, and bones are organs. How are the two related yet different from each other? Can you think of another tissue/organ pair that potentially creates a similar confusing situation?

What will be an ideal response?

Bone is made of cells (osteocytes) suspended in a matrix of
protein fibers and a ground substance. It also serves to produce blood cells due to the
presence of bone marrow within the cavity of the bone. The skin may also be considered
a tissue in that it is composed of epithelial tissue and as an organ in that it also serves to help
protect the body from infections, remove waste products, and regulate body temperature.
