What are the problems with using default passwords?
What will be an ideal response?
Wireless access points and other equipment require the user to enter a username and password to access their configuration management features. All access points from a specific vendor are configured with the same standard password (known as the default password) that is used to access the AP configuration program. Although it is critical to immediately change a default password once equipment is installed, this is often overlooked. Default passwords are well known and can be easily found on the Internet. Using a default password, an attacker can change any AP configuration and even lock out a network administrator from the access point.
