Write a note on translation of the Qur'an.

What will be an ideal response?

The Qur'an itself is said to exist only in Arabic, the language in which it was revealed by Muhammad to others. Muslims believe that all translations of the Qur'an involve some distortion of meaning, so no translation can be authentic, perfect Qur'an. Where translations are used, many printed Qur'ans have the original Arabic text on facing pages.
