Is water a renewable resource, nonrenewable resource, or both? Explain

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Water can be both a renewable and a nonrenewable resource. If it is extracted at a rate than can naturally be replaced by the source, it is renewable. If it is extracted at a higher rate than can naturally be replaced, it is nonrenewable.
