Explain the differences between the floral assemblage of the tropical deciduous biome to that of the tropical rainforest
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: The tropical deciduous forest is not as lush as (less biomass than) the tropical rainforest because of lesser rainfall. The trees are not as tall and there are not nearly as many species. In addition, many species lose their leaves in anticipation of the dry season as compared to the evergreen species of the tropical rainforest.
