Compare and contrast action research and experimental research
What will be an ideal response?
Comparison: Both action research and experimental research provide information and can be used to inform
future practices. Contrast: Action research is nonexperimental and descriptive in nature, where as experimental research seeks to control variables and identify a functional relation between a dependent variable and an independent variable. Action research is naturalistic and is designed to describe what is going on within the environment without manipulating any variables.
