Teeth of carnivores have reduced incisors and enlarged canines. Teeth of herbivores have reduced canines; incisors adapted to snipping leaves; and wide, flat premolars and molars for grinding plant fibers. Omnivores are similar to herbivores but have pointed canines and flat incisors.
