How is a cancerous tumor different from a benign tumor?

What will be an ideal response?

Although both will appear as an enlargement in a tissue, a cancerous tumor is made up of cancer cells that have lost their ability to recognize their natural borders thus making them, in most cases, more invasive. In addition, cancer cells lose their ability to function as the tissue in which they reside, so as more and more tissue is invaded, the organ loses its ability to function as well.
