How do siblings influence gender stereotyping?

What will be an ideal response?

It seems this is not an easy question. How siblings influence gender stereotyping depends on birth order, age, how many children there are in the family, and whether siblings are of the same or different sexes. Not surprising, older siblings have more influence over younger siblings than younger siblings have over older ones. Some research indicates that hildren with same-sex siblings are more stereotyped than children with no siblings. Other research indicates the opposite. Sibling relationships and the adoption of gender stereotypical roles are influenced by the family composition. For example, in all-girl or all-boy families, children are likely to take on non-stereotypical chores and roles.
