into small, manageable parts that are reinforced with successive approximations to the
end goal. BPIS creates structure for engagement in appropriate behaviors.
Visual structure and supports capitalize on the student’s visual strengths. Visual
schedules, planners, labels, color coding facilities, and video modeling teach expectations
and reinforce learning.
Social Skill Development focus on enhancing positive social relationships. Joint attention
