is the “four-corner emphasis” of the Early Head Start Program? What impact has this program had on children and families?

What will be an ideal response?

The “four-corner emphasis” focuses on children, family, community, and staff development. Services provided include high-quality education and care both in and outside of the home, parent education, and health services to include pregnancy care, nutrition information, and peer support groups for parents. The impact this has had on families and children is significant. According to current statistics, more than 172,000 families have been served, and almost 15,000 pregnant women have been served by the program. As the textbook notes, special education continues to grow and expand; such expansion can only continue to reach and benefit more and more families.
