What should you do if you don't understand a section of a textbook well enough to summarize and label it?

What will be an ideal response?

First, make sure you understand the key terms (look them up if need be). Second, reread the section sentence by sentence, taking time to analyze the section as you progress. Third, determine if your problems stem from a lack of knowledge about the subject. If that is the case, find a simpler treatment of it to add to your knowledge. Ask your instructor for help or for recommended readings that will help you understand the subject better.
