What is a live system? What advantages does it have over an installed system?
What will be an ideal response?
A live system runs from RAM (memory) and does not alter the hard disk
(except possibly for a swap partition). When you reboot a system after run-
ning a live system on it, the system once again runs the original operating
system.
A live system is a good choice for testing hardware and software, experi-
menting with Linux, and manipulating and altering hard disks on a system.
