What will be an ideal response?
(a) Devise a method by which you can score the essays without knowing which students wrote them, (b) evaluate all answers to the same question together, (c) decide on a policy for handling irrelevant or incorrect responses, (d) if possible, reread papers before handing them back to students, (e) write comments on the paper, and (f) outline a plan for what constitutes a good or acceptable answer prior to administering or scoring students' responses.
