Compare and contrast challenges faced by teachers in urban and rural settings
What will be an ideal response?
Many students in urban settings face challenges in receiving a well-balanced education due to many factors, including funding inequality, high teacher and student mobility, and limited access to literacy resources in their communities. Students who live in rural areas also face the challenge of access to literacy opportunities. Some may live a great distance from a public library and may depend on a bookmobile to obtain reading materials. Some live in remote areas that have limited Internet, telephone, and TV service, and they may have to travel a great distance to shop for food and other items and to obtain medical services.
