What are some of the things managers should do in regard to managing group norms?

What will be an ideal response?

Managers should keep aware of what group norms develop and help the group work towards establishing and maintaining positive norms while minimizing or eliminating negative norms. An important part of this is modeling desired norms to the group through the manager’s own actions. Managers must also be willing to discuss negative norms with groups that begin to exhibit them and work with those groups to help them move towards more positive norms.
