What will be an ideal response?

In rough-and-tumble play affords children opportunities to expand their social, physical, language, and cognitive skills (Carlton, 2011). Socially, children are required to take turns, infer, negotiate, and maintain friendships. Physically, they gain control over their body movements and coordination. Linguistically, they must communicate what they plan to do and interpret the communications of their play peers. Cognitively, rough-and-tumble play requires children to perceive and infer the movements of their peers.
