In the context of job evaluation, how can an organization improve employee acceptability?

Several devices are used to assess and improve employee acceptability. An obvious one is to include a formal appeals process. Employees who believe their jobs are evaluated incorrectly should be able to request re-analysis and/or skills re-evaluation. Most firms respond to such requests from managers, but few extend the process to all employees, unless those employees are represented by unions who have negotiated a grievance process. Another approach is to use employee attitude surveys to assess their perceptions of acceptability.
