What is extemporaneous speaking? When should it be used, and what are three suggestions for using it well?

What will be an ideal response

Extemporaneous speaking is the delivery of a prepared speech from a few notes in a delivery outline. The speech itself, although prepared and rehearsed, will be worded slightly different each time. To prepare, it is recommended that the speaker use a full-content outline when beginning to rehearse, then move to a delivery outline based on fewer notes as you rehearse. Do not try to memorize the speech word for word but continue to vary the way you present. As you deliver your speech, adapt to your audience; and make use of gestures and movements that arise naturally from what you are saying.
