Compare and contrast cognitive and outcome feedback

What will be an ideal response?

Cognitive feedback is when you make self-judgments about your progress. This typically happens when completing homework or studying. Outcome feedback is feedback from your professor on your performance (i.e. grades). Both types of feedback can be useful in the self-regulation process. Cognitive feedback can shape current studying behaviors and outcome feedback can shape future studying behaviors.
