How does a system produce extra energy?

What will be an ideal response?

To foster negative entropy, the parts of the system must function well together.
When the subsystems work in conjunction with one another they produce extra energy, or
synergy. When operating efficiently and effectively, the subsystems working together are
able to produce more than if they were working alone and their outputs were added
together.
