Is sex research ethical?

What will be an ideal response?


Though research on the sexual behavior of individuals may be perceived as an invasion of privacy, as long as it upholds the principles of justice, informed consent, and anonymity, it is considered ethical. If the participants benefit in some way from being in the study, and the results of the study further our understanding of sexuality, as a discipline, and benefit the society at large, then sex research seems justifiable.
