What will be an ideal response?
Ethical issues that can arise at the conclusion of an evaluation include: (1) dissemination and reporting have not been addressed properly or explicitly, or the plan was not updated based on new circumstances and conditions – this may cause confusion about how the results should be reported; (2) reporting back is delayed because of several factors, including data collection or analysis was more time consuming than anticipated, lack of clarity about what to include in the final report, or cumbersome reporting requirements. (3) reluctance to share findings even though the information is critical to key individuals in the agency; (4) difficulty in ensuring confidentially when reporting results; (5) insufficient funds for dissemination of results; and (6) reluctance by the researcher to acknowledge the study’s limitations.
