What are IFSPs and IEPs? How can these things increase professional and family collaboration?

What will be an ideal response?

IFSP stands for individualized family service plan and IEP stands for individualized education program. These documents help provide accountability of practitioners to deliver the services and support agreed upon, and they increase the level of family involvement. These documents provide an opportunity for family involvement whereby families share information and concerns about their children. They also help families become familiar with the program in which their child is enrolled, while also helping them track their child's educational progress.
