How are vegans different to other vegetarians?

What will be an ideal response?

Vegans consume no animal foods. However there are many different types of vegetarians–lacto vegetarians (consume dairy products but no eggs), lacto-ovo-vegetarians (eggs, milk), ovo vegetarians (eggs), pescavegetarians (eggs, dairy, fish), and semivegetarian (meat, poultry on occasion). Vegetarians are less likely to have hypertension, diabetes, and cancer than non-vegetarians.
