What will be an ideal response?
Interest, conducive employment, collaboration, and strategic involvement in causes. One must pick an area about which one is passionate. One must also have either a job that enables them to pursue this cause on work time or sufficient spare time and interest to devote to it outside of work. Collaboration is key, since issues of this magnitude rarely change through the effort of one person alone, though they can certainly begin that way. One must also learn to choose one's battles carefully. It can be exhausting to push against an immovable object, and as such, a social worker should start in an area that is perhaps more ripe for change and use that momentum to take the next steps toward solving the larger problem at hand.
