Briefly explain a preparation outline.

What will be an ideal response?

Some people refer to the first version of wording main points as a preparation outline. It provides a draft of main points but doesn’t do so in the form of a completed sentence. The relationship between each main point and the speech goal must be clearly specified.
The main points should follow parallel structure. Parallel structure means the main points follow the same structural pattern. It is not a requirement, but it can help the audience recognize main points when you deliver your speech. It can be achieved by numbering or starting each sentence with an active verb.
