What are some major types of events and how are they covered?

What will be an ideal response?

Breaking news comes from crimes and disasters that happen at random times in odd locations. Reporters often head to the scene of the event and gather as much information as possible. Speeches are often tailored to the audience members and, because they usually involve a singular point of view, they tend to be one-sided affairs. However, these can be good events to cover, as you can help share a person’s expertise on a key topic with your readers. A meeting is an event where a governing body of representatives comes together to deal with the business pertaining to that group or the people that the group represents. You need to choose a specific element of the meeting or a few important items and show your readers why the focus of your story matters to them. News conferences help a person or an organization disseminate a single message to multiple media outlets in a single moment. You can get a lot of great information because the event is essentially built for you and because sources at the event are usually willing to speak with you.
