Describe any two steps that middle school could take to help their students make healthier choices at school or at home
The Let's Move Initiative has challenged schools to place salad bars in the cafeterias. This will allow students to make healthier choices. Also, stocking vending machines with water or milk versus soda will help students make healthier beverage choices as well. The teachers could be a big influence on the students as well. They could model good eating habits as well as talk with the students informally about eating well.
