Define epideictic, informative, and persuasive presentations and give one "real-world" example of each type.

What will be an ideal response?

An epideictic speech is used when you are introducing yourself or another person, celebrating an event, or commemorating a special occasion, such as a wedding, award, or funeral, and these presentations often contain a strong emotional element. An informative presentation seeks to convey new information and increase the audience’s understanding about a topic. An example would be a training session. A persuasive speech seeks to change or modify an audience’s attitudes, beliefs, values, or outlook about a topic. It may also try to reinforce existing ideas. An example of a persuasive speech is a parent making a public argument for increased building security at a school board meeting.
