Use medical terms to describe how cancer develops

What will be an ideal response?

Cancer begins when the DNA in a cell undergoes a mutation that results in the loss of regulated cell division. The mutated cell may undergo a physical change, or dysplasia. The mutated cell may take on a more permanent physical change, or anaplasia, and form a cluster of nonfunctional cells called a tumor or neoplasm. The tumors can be benign (slow growing and not invasive) or they can grow quickly and spread, becoming malignant and cancerous.
