Discuss at least three elements to consider when analyzing the religion and religiousness of audience members, and demonstrate how a speaker could adapt to each element

What will be an ideal response?

Answers will vary. Several elements are related to the religion and religiousness of audience members: 1) their perception of your topic, 2) their possible offense at its insensitivity, 3) their emotional connection to a religion, and 3) their deviation from the official teachings of their religion. Speakers might address these aspects of religiousness?then shape their speech and adapt to their audience?by asking themselves these questions: 1) Will religious audience members see my topic or purpose from the point of view of religion? 2) Does my topic or purpose attack the religious beliefs of any segment of my audience, or appear insensitive to them? 3) Do my audience members have an emotional attachment to religious beliefs they were taught, even if they claim total alienation from that religion today? 4) Do the beliefs of my audience differ in any significant way from the official teachings of their religion?
