If a child has been seriously injured by his mother, should that child ever be returned to the mother's care? Why?
What will be an ideal response?
Depends on the situation, but I would return the child only in exceptional circumstances and then with close supervision. Generally child abuse is not a one-time crime and most abusers continue to repeat their crimes.
