Explain the difference between mean, median, and mode.

The mode is the most frequently occurring value, median is the value of the middle case, and mean is the average for all data. Additionally, mode can only be used for nominal variables, while both mode and median can be used when working with ordinal variables. All three measures can be used when working with interval/ratio variables.
